Job Responsibilities
The Information Center serves as a central point of contact for prospective and current students, faculty, staff, and visitors seeking assistance with college-related inquiries. The individual in this role will primarily support students through in-person interactions, phone calls, and live chat. The primary responsibility is to provide clear, accurate, and professional guidance on a range of topics, including the enrollment process, assessment testing, course requirements, advisement and registration, and both credit and non-credit college services.
This position will be located on the Midlands Technical College Beltline Campus.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A bachelor's degree and one (1) year of relevant customer service experience or experience in higher education; or an associate's degree and three (3) years of relevant customer service experience or experience in higher education; or a high school diploma and five (5) years of relevant customer service experience or experience in higher education.
