Position Summary


This IT Systems Support position (On-site) in Information and Technology Services is a Temporary/Non-Exempt position (6 months to Hire) at Kashiv BioSciences, LLC, in Piscataway, NJ (Primary location: Piscataway, NJ; travel to Chicago, IL (Up to 20%) as per supervisor discretion). This candidate is responsible for supporting computers, servers, and networks, documents, installations, upgrades, and monitoring network performance. Must support in the Pharma/BioSciences GxP environment, and LAB / LAB Equipment related projects as it relates to IT Support. This position is not eligible for H-1B or other employment-based sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide Tier 1 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues.

Perform routine system administration tasks, including user account management via Active Directory and Azure AD

Configure, deploy, and maintain workstations, software packages, and security updates.

Monitor and support local and cloud-based network systems (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).

Manage and troubleshoot Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Use ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk) to track, prioritize, and document support requests.

Conduct basic network diagnostics using tools like ping, traceroute, or ipconfig.

Assist with asset tracking, license management, and hardware inventory control.

Provide technical support for remote users, including remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP).

Follow standard operating procedures for incident response, escalation, and documentation.

Assist in implementation and maintenance of endpoint security solutions (antivirus, disk encryption, MFA).

Provide IT support for validated systems and applications used in GMP environments, ensuring adherence to data integrity and compliance requirements.

Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of GMP-compliant IT infrastructure, including system validation and documentation.

Support audit readiness by maintaining proper documentation of changes, incidents, and system configurations as per GMP guidelines. Management may require involvement in other critical business-impacting projects that may be outside of regular job duties defined herein.

Minimum Requirements:


Education and Experience:


Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 1-3 Years of experience in the IT industry is preferred OR equivalent experience.


Preferred Requirements:


Focus on configuring, deploying, and maintaining workstations, software packages, and security updates.

Monitor and support local and cloud-based network systems (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and related apps).

Manage and troubleshoot Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Problem Solving, Strategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study, knowledge of analytical lab pharma manufacturing equipment, Quality Systems.

Expect to be up to date and current with the company-mandated GxP training via MasterControl.

Compensation:


Hourly pay range depending on experience and fit for the position: $25-$45 plus per hour                


SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:


Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English fluently.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standard office environment noise. Some higher noise levels will need to be tolerated while working in manufacturing areas.

Walking through the manufacturing and Quality/GxP Lab area when required.

Travel:


Minimal to moderate travel will be expected between Chicago, IL, Piscataway, NJ, and South Plainfield, NJ.
