We are currently hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians in New Bedford, MA. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical production equipment. Weekend shift positions are currently available.  This is a Permanent position with our client.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatically controlled production equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to the equipment schedule.
  • Rebuild electrical mechanical devices.
  • Work with the engineering department to modify, design, select and adapt equipment or procedures to specific requirements.
  • Test, calibrate and repair mechanical, electronic, electromechanical and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments.
  • Assist in formulating calibrating standards.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma is required.
  • Associates degree from a Technical College is preferred.
  • 3-7+ years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings and blueprints.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
