Title: Diagnostic Repair Strategy Program Manager
Duration:1- 2 Year 
Location: Lisle, IL
Local Candidates only

The manager are looking for:
1) Experience in tools such as GT-Power, DevX, INCA, Matlab, Calterm and Simulink, Vector CANalyzer and CANoe
2) Understanding UDS Protocol: In-depth knowledge of the UDS protocol (ISO 14229) and its application in vehicle diagnostics CAN Communication: Proficiency with Controller Area Network (CAN) communication tools and protocols1.
3) Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills
4) Understanding in Failure Analysis: Experience in conducting failure analysis and troubleshooting vehicle systems. Example DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Analysis)
The Diagnostics Repair Strategy Program Manager focuses upfront on the New Product Development process to help drive design for diagnostics. Making sure that service is protected and ensure that new components can be diagnosed. Working directly with client R/D make sure standards are adhered to. This person would work directly with not only R/D but also communicate this information effectively with Service Solutions teams.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Managing new vehicle programs to define the diagnostic strategy.
o Participates in new program concept sheet reviews.
o Create diagnostic standards for future programs.
o Create presentations to illustrate Risks/Issues, and adherence to program timelines.
• Supporting current product initiatives to help reduce warranty spend through diagnostics optimization on current production vehicles.
• Works cross functionally with program teams, product development, service engineering, and the field.
• Competitive and Internal Service Benchmarking including but not limited to:
o Perform reviews on internal and external competitive best practices.
o Perform on vehicle reviews.
o Perform service repair time benchmarking.
• Utilize benchmarking results to influence and incorporate into repair strategy.
 
Desired Skills:
• Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills
• Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
• Familiarity with Vis Mockup, CAD, Teamcenter or other engineering drawing systems
• Diesel, Medium/Heavy Duty, and Electric Vehicle experience
• Ability to manage complex projects from start to finish.
• Highly skilled at digesting complex data sets and recommending solutions.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 5 years of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience
OR
• Master’s degree
• At least 3 years of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience
OR
• At least 7 years of technical service engineering, automotive service or truck service experience
