Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing office support functions to various City of Wasilla departments on a Non-Regular, as-needed basis.
Essential Duties
The responsibilities listed below are illustrative of the various types of duties that may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, and direct to appropriate staff or departments.
  • Receive and direct visitors to the appropriate person or office.
  • Prepare a variety of highly confidential and/or specialized reports and maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, and conversations.
  • Provide general office support, schedule appointments on calendar, compose and reply to emails.
  • Handle meeting preparation, filing, faxing, and scanning.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowlege, Skills and Abilities
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • One year office experience working in a professional or public office.
