Responsibilities
Perform high-quality Cath Lab radiology procedures with patient safety in mind.
Operate and monitor radiology equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
Assist physicians during interventional procedures and clot buster administrations as needed.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles for all cases.
Accurately document procedures, patient data, and post-procedure care in medical records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet departmental targets and workflow KPIs.
Stay current with radiology best practices and pursue ongoing professional development.
Provide patient education and support to reduce anxiety and improve outcomes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in quality initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organized Cath Lab environment and ensure equipment readiness before procedures.
Support inventory management for disposables and contrast media, ensuring cost awareness.
Experience/Qualifications
Certified Radiologic Technologist with OR Cath Lab experience
Proficiency in conducting cath lab radiology procedures with ALARA adherence
Experience operating angiography/fluoroscopy equipment and related maintenance
Ability to assist physicians during interventional procedures and clot busting
Strong radiation safety knowledge and compliance with ALARA principles
Accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and post-procedure care
Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams and KPI-driven mindset
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with radiology best practices
Patient education and support to reduce anxiety and improve outcomes
Inventory management support for disposables and contrast media with cost awareness
Capable of maintaining a clean, organized Cath Lab and ensuring equipment readiness
Attendance to quality initiatives and opportunities for process improvement
