Job description

Description:

Our client is seeking a Trade Specialist in their Newark, NJ; Stamford, CT; or New York, NY law offices.
Candidates must have experience with antidumping/countervailing duty and customs matters, including post entry adjustments, protests, binding ruling request, prior disclosures, mitigation of fines, penalties and forfeitures, and reconciliations. Effective writing skills, attention to detail and ability to work well in a deadline driven environment.

  • Experience as a Licensed Customs Broker or import team leader
  • Experience with classifications under Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Schedule B (prefer knowledge of export classifications/ECCN)
  • Experience with various types of entries and entry procedures, including quota entries, temporary importations, warehouse entries and withdrawals
  • Experience preparing post entry adjustments, protests, mitigation of fines, penalties and forfeitures, and reconciliations
