Job description

SUMMARY

Support the Human Resources team by assisting with recruiting coordination, employee onboarding, HR record maintenance, and day-to-day administrative functions. This role also contributes to employee support initiatives and general HR operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and maintain accurate employee onboarding documentation and records.
  • Schedule and manage pre-employment requirements including background checks and screening activities.
  • Assist with orientation and onboarding for newly hired employees, including temporary-to-permanent staff.
  • Escalate employee relations concerns or policy-related matters to the appropriate HR contacts when needed.
  • Provide support with leave administration, workers’ compensation matters, employee benefit questions, and enrollment activities.
  • Help with additional HR projects, reporting, and departmental assignments as requested.
  • Maintain organized employee files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Offer administrative assistance to HR leadership and support daily office operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources or administrative support experience preferred.
  • Strong keyboarding and data management abilities with high accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required; HRIS experience such as ADP is beneficial.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential employee information appropriately.
