RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic production equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility utilities.
- Diagnose issues involving PLC-controlled and automated manufacturing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Support equipment reliability initiatives by improving preventive maintenance programs.
- Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment documentation, and spare parts inventories.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other cross-functional teams.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians while promoting safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Several years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Prior experience supporting pharmaceutical or other cGMP-regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience maintaining oral solid dosage manufacturing equipment—including tablet presses, coaters, granulators, mixers, and packaging equipment—is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on an overnight shift.
