Temporary Logistics Data Entry
Our client, a well-established retail organization, is seeking a Logistics Data Entry Specialist to support its distribution operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with data in a fast-paced retail environment. You will play a key role in ensuring inventory, shipping, and logistics information is entered accurately to support daily operations. This role is Monday-Friday fully onsite. Pay is $20/hr.
This is a temporary assignment through the end of the year, with the potential to become a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter and update logistics, inventory, shipping, and purchase order data into company systems.
  • Maintain product, vendor, and distribution records with a high level of accuracy.
  • Review inbound and outbound shipment documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Track inventory movements between distribution centers and retail locations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to reconcile data, maintain reports, and validate information.
  • Perform routine audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Generate reports to support inventory planning, purchasing, and logistics teams.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, merchandising, purchasing, and transportation teams to ensure accurate data flow.
  • Maintain organized electronic files and documentation.
  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals in a high-volume environment.
  • Provide administrative support for supply chain and retail operations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in data entry, logistics, inventory control, retail operations, supply chain, or administrative support preferred.
  • Retail industry strongly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including experience with:
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • Pivot Tables
    • Sorting and filtering large datasets
    • IF statements and other common formulas
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
