Golden Ridge Stables is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Riding Instructor to join our team year-round. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hunt seat equitation on the flat (no jumping), horsemanship, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction to riders of all levels.
Responsibilities
Conduct riding lessons for individuals and small groups (beginner through advanced riders)
Develop lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs and goals
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills
Work with horses and riders of all ages and abilities
Create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
Teach proper riding techniques and horsemanship
Participate in special events, clinics, and competitions as appropriate
Maintain strong communication with riders and families
Support horse care, stable management, and safety practices
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of hunt seat equitation and horsemanship
Experience working with horses and riders of all levels
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of horse care, stable management, and basic first aid
Reliable, responsible, and committed to the safety and well-being of horses and riders
