About This Position
The Golf Cart/Range Helper role is a seasonal outside service position involving physically demanding manual labor to maintain daily operation of the cart barn and driving range at KickingBird Golf. They help prepare, operate, and clean assigned areas at KickingBird Golf (including the cart barn), and they function as a golf range attendant and a golf cart attendant.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Or be currently attending high school
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to the City's insurance carrier

Responsibilities: Duties will vary based on the assigned shift (early or late). The following list contains general responsibilities for this position.
  • Ensure driving range tee is set properly (proper stations for Trackman Range)
  • Drag golf range using tractor as needed
  • Move range tee one-half tee each night
  • Clean Halfway House and the clubhouse bathrooms
  • Prepare carts for next use by inspecting for damage, deep cleaning, and parking/charging
  • Clean and tidy cart barn area, parking lot, and around building
  • Pick up trash in short game area, range fences, driving range, and cart barn
  • Retrieve and wash range balls
  • Help with the maintenance of the course
  • Attend staff meetings and safety training
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Necessary Skills
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors in potentially adverse weather conditions (extreme heat, winter weather, etc.)
  • Ability to meet the required physical standards for this position
  • Ability to pass extensive background process and pre-employment drug screening
