Job Title:
Full Stack Software Developer
Role Overview:
At McAfee, we're driven to make life online safe and enjoyable through innovative, trusted cybersecurity solutions for millions of users worldwide. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design and build end-to-end applications, services, and workflows in a fast-moving environment focused on continuous innovation and security. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to develop scalable applications and APIs that deliver real-world user experiences. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a "start-up" mentality who can quickly solve complex problems, communicate solutions effectively, and leverage emerging technologies like Generative and Agentic AI to create intelligent, next-generation applications.
This is a Hybrid Position located in Frisco, TX. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to the Frisco office. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work from your home office.
About the Role:
  • Articulate and solve complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and developers throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate with the other team or 3rd party vendors to integrate functional component.
  • Understand requirements; design and develop applications and APIs for devices that meet real world scenarios.
  • Use Generative AI for code and build Agentic AI App experience.

About You:
  • Possess 5-7 years of software development experience with at least 3+ years working extensively with AI/ML technologies.
  • Experience building scalable applications in cloud environments including Amazon AWS and GCP platforms.
  • Skilled developing REST Services with Golang, Python and containerization (Docker) with orchestration solutions including EKS/Fargate.
  • SQL, NoSQL and big data frameworks including DynamoDB, MS-SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Apache Spark, S3, or Hadoop.
  • Middleware technologies like Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ.
  • LLM integration and prompt engineering (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face).
  • Showcase a "start-up" mentality who hits the ground running with minimal supervision.
