Enterprise Charter School (ECS) Overview:
Enterprise is a public charter school in Buffalo, New York educating children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Founded in 2003, ECS is committed to "Engaging young minds through projects and partnerships." We pursue our mission through our Charter's key design elements, with our primary focus on highly engaging project-based learning, comprehensive arts education, and individualized instruction for enrichment and acceleration. Enterprise Charter School is seeking a Foreign Language Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. The ideal candidate must possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Foreign Language, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated interest in impacting K-8 students in urban schools and communities.
  • Academic expertise in world languages and cultures.
  • Understanding of formative and summative assessments.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
  • Skills in analyzing and using data to make instructional and behavioral decisions.
  • Experience, knowledge, and background related to NYS Learning Standards for Languages Other Than English (LOTE).
  • Ability to develop engaging, culturally responsive lessons that promote language acquisition and global awareness.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • New York State certification in the applicable foreign language area preferred.

Enterprise Charter School offers a competitive salary, health benefits, and is a member of the NYS Teacher Retirement System. Position starts at $50,000, with higher rates based on certifications and experience.
