Job Description

The Lead Facility Engineer will oversee the daily Operation and Maintenance of the chiller plant, boilers, kitchen repairs while directing employees and verifying completion of work orders at CMI's customer site in Shepherdstown, West Viriginia. This position is temporary.

Key Job Functions

  • Oversee the chiller plant, boilers, and kitchen repairs
  • Supervise and advise O&M staff
  • Verify the completion of all work orders
  • Ensure heating and cooling mechanical systems and their equipment and/or components function safely, reliably, efficiently, and economically
  • Ensure facility Building Automation System (BAS) are properly maintained and operated within facility operational parameters
  • Ensure the Computerized Maintenance Management System is kept current
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies from off shift personnel
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience with a crew of 10 or more
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to solve operational issues or failures with electrical systems, control systems, fire alarm systems and mechanical systems
  • Working knowledge of theories, principles, practical concepts, systems, and processes related to fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, industry codes, and techniques.
