Job description

We are seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our engineering team supporting the design, certification, and lifecycle support of advanced aerospace products. The successful candidate will perform structural analysis to verify the integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance of aircraft structures while collaborating with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and product support teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis to evaluate aircraft components and assemblies for strength, durability, and regulatory compliance.

Conduct finite element modeling (FEA), static stress, fatigue and damage tolerance, thermal, vibration, and structural analyses.

Develop analytical models and engineering calculations to validate structural designs.

Support structural sizing and optimization for metallic and composite structures.

Prepare stress reports, substantiation reports, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Certification, and Product Support teams.

Support design reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and post-delivery engineering activities.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable aerospace regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.

5-8 years of experience with a BS, 3-6 years with an MS, or 0-3 years with a PhD.

Knowledge of mechanics of materials, aircraft structures, and finite element modeling.

Experience with static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

       Aerospace industry experience.

       Experience supporting aircraft certification programs.

       Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations.

Experience with metallic and composite structures.

Proficiency with Nastran, Patran, HyperMesh, ANSYS, Abaqus, CATIA V5, or Siemens NX.
