TradeWise is actively hiring experienced Finish Blade Operators – Foreman Level for heavy civil construction and mass grading projects in the Las Vegas, NV area.

Position Overview

The Finish Blade Operator – Foreman Level is responsible for operating motor graders to perform precision finish grading on civil construction and site development projects while also assisting with crew coordination and production oversight.


This role requires strong finish grade experience, leadership ability, and the capability to work independently in fast-paced heavy civil environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate motor graders / finish blades for precision grading
  • Perform finish grade work on roads, pads, and site development projects
  • Read grade stakes, blueprints, and site plans
  • Coordinate with grade crews, operators, and project supervision
  • Maintain production schedules while ensuring safe operation
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Lead by example with safety, communication, and jobsite professionalism


Required Experience:

  • 5+ years operating finish blades / motor graders
  • Foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
  • Experience on heavy civil, roadway, or mass grading projects
  • Strong understanding of finish grading and grade tolerances
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in high-production environments


Preferred Qualifications:

  • GPS / grade control experience
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Experience on large-scale civil or DOT projects
  • CDL (plus but not required)


Compensation:
