Job Title: Wet Utilities Foreman
Job Summary:
The Wet Utilities Foreman oversees and coordinates utility pipeline installation and maintenance activities. This role ensures compliance with construction procedures, specifications, and schedules while leading on-site teams in both public and private sector projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct on-site crews, ensuring adherence to schedules and procedures.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor progress for efficiency and quality.
- Identify and implement improvements in work methods and scheduling.
- Hire, train, and mentor laborers and equipment operators.
- Collaborate with supervisory staff to resolve operational challenges.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of construction equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including DOT, OSHA, and MSHA standards.
- Address delays, weather-related issues, and emergencies as they arise.
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary.
- Maintain daily logs of labor, equipment, and materials.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a foreman or supervisory role.
