Job description

Job Description As key member of the Information Technology (IT) team, involved in all aspects of providing oversight, coordination and operational delivery of the healthcare information technology for The Christ Hospital (TCH), this role leads the selection, development, implementation and adoption of advanced clinical workflows for the Ambulatory process units of The Christ Hospital. The role also oversees the over-arching security strategy for all Epic access and user provisioning. The individual must be able to work autonomously while concurrently building technical and best practice process linkages to ensure TCH maintains leadership in Patient Safety, Quality, and Cost Effectiveness.

Responsibilities System Analysis, Development, Build, and Implementation for Epic Ambulatory. Epic Security strategic thinking and adoption of user provisioning best practices is an additional requirement. Develop, Support, and Maintain Documentation, Policy and Procedures.

System Testing and Acceptance Project Management Qualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Please describe any specialized knowledge or skills, which are REQUIRED to perform the position duties. Do not personalize the job description, credentials, or knowledge and skills based on the current associate. List any special education required for this position.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business or a healthcare related degree and associated experience. And or an associates degree with more commensurate job related experience. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 and/or 7.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS: Epic application certification and experience preferred 5 years Application Systems Analyst experience in EpicCare Ambulatory and Security Ability to deal with a number of tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail Communicate efficiently with technical team as well as managers and end users - both written and verbal Skilled at problem solving Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problem Possesses an understanding and high-aptitude for computer system capabilities to address process requirement Strong communication skills - written and verbal Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problem Possesses an understanding of computer system capabilities to address process requirement Strong presentation skills with experience in presenting directly to management and clinicians.
