Overview
The Director of Beebe Healthcare Epic Community Connect is responsible for the strategic, operational, financial, and relationship management oversight of Beebe Healthcare's Epic Community Connect Program. This leader is accountable for developing and operating a sustainable Community Connect model that enables affiliated healthcare organizations including federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), physician practices, and other strategic partners to leverage Beebe Healthcare's Epic platform.
The Director serves as the leader for Beebe's Epic Community Connect partnerships and collaborates closely with leadership, information technology, strategy, clinical operations, revenue cycle, population health, compliance, and external organizations. Responsibilities include implementation oversight, partnership onboarding, service delivery performance, customer success, growth strategy, contract management, and financial performance.
The Director will establish Community Connect as a strategic capability for Beebe Healthcare, supporting care integration, health equity, value-based care initiatives, and population health objectives.
Responsibilities
Leadership:
  • Develop, refine, and execute a Community Connect strategic roadmap.
  • Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities aligning with Beebe's strategic plan.
  • Establish long-term, sustainable growth strategies for Community Connect services.
  • Serve as a liaison between Beebe Healthcare and partner organizations.
  • Collaborate with other leadership to align Community Connect initiatives with population health, clinical integration, and strategic goals.
  • Represent Beebe Healthcare in Epic Community Connect forums and external partnership discussions.

Program Oversight:
  • Lead Community Connect Steering Committee activities and reporting.
  • Ensure appropriate governance regarding:
  • Application ownership
  • Shared build standards
  • Customization requests
  • Upgrade management
  • Data stewardship
  • Security and compliance
  • Develop policies, standards, and operating procedures for Community Connect operations.
  • Working in tandem with CIO and CHSDO to ensure alignment with Beebe Healthcare Epic and IT governance structures.

Customer Success and Relationship Management:
  • Establish a high-performing customer success function.
  • Serve as escalation leader for Community Connect partners.
  • Build trusted relationships with leadership at partner organizations.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate regular business reviews with Community Connect clients.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Implementation Oversight:
  • Oversee Community Connect implementations from contract execution through stabilization.
  • Ensure successful project delivery regarding scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
  • Coordinate implementation resources including:

  • Third-party vendors
  • Monitor adoption, optimization, and post-go-live performance metrics.
  • Ensure consistent use of implementation methodologies and best practices.

Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage Community Connect operating and capital budgets.
  • Establish pricing methodologies and service models.
  • Develop cost recovery and profitability strategies.
  • Monitor contract performance and revenue generation.
  • Evaluate opportunities for shared services and economies of scale.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership on business planning and investment decisions.

Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, CMS requirements, FQHC regulations, Epic Community Connect standards, Information security requirements.
  • Maintain Community Connect accreditation and Epic program standards.
  • Oversee contract compliance and operational risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, privacy, and security teams.

Operational Leadership:
  • Establish key performance indicators and operational dashboards.
  • Monitor:

Qualifications
Minimum 5 to 7 years of healthcare experience.
Minimum 3 years of Epic experience.
Experience leading complex healthcare technology implementations.
Experience managing large-scale programs and cross-functional teams.
Experience with healthcare operations, ambulatory care, and revenue cycle management.
Experience working with provider organizations, healthcare networks, or affiliated partner organizations preferred.
Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Epic Community Connect experience preferred.
