Description

A manufacturer of surface heaters, temperature controllers, and insulators. Their products are used in hundreds of industries to prevent freezing, keep contents flowing, maintain critical process temperatures, and more. They are currently looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to join their team. Job Description Develop software for a wide range of devices and be involved in product development from Inception to production in a fast-paced R&D setting. You would be involved in assessment of product requirements, user interface design, software architecture and backend development, and validation. Role includes working with 3rd party developers on various applications and supporting legacy products with bug-fixes and feature improvements. Work on multiple simultaneous projects with a cross-functional team of engineers and designers. Duties and responsibilities: • Writing Software for Embedded Microcontrollers • Reviewing / Updating Software written by other Developers for various platforms • Testing and Validation of Software / Systems • Interpreting Electrical Schematic Drawings • Review and Selection of Electrical Components • Writing Technical Documentation / Instructions • Collaborating on Creation of Design Requirements / Specifications • Understanding and Ability to meet Compliance and Testing Requirements • Collaborating with 3rd Party Developers and Vendors • Supporting manufacturing process controls as needed
