Substitute Teacher Daily Rate: $135/day (subject to change pending board approval)
Substitute teacher training is required for all new substitute teachers. Before registering for training, please be sure to complete and fully submit your Dayton Area School Employment Consortium application and apply for the specific substitute teacher positions you are interested in.
The different categories are:
  • Bachelor and/or Master's Degree Substitute Teacher - Non-Education degree
  • Education Bachelor and/or Masters Degree Substitute Teacher
  • Non-degree Temporary substitute teacher

We will hold all Substitute Teacher Training sessions at 4029 Executive Drive, Beavercreek, OH 45430
We also require that you bring the following to the training:
  • Driver's License
  • Social Security Card
  • Substitute/Teacher License (if currently issued)
  • Original Transcripts (Electronic) of Bachelor's Degree
  • $47.25 fee (credit card preferred) for fingerprinting (previous fingerprint records cannot be accepted due to administrative guidelines)
