Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking an ADAS & Electrical Engineering Consultant for our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will work as part of a team to solve high-profile real-world problems for your clients relating to electrical and electronics systems. You will perform analyses relating to cutting edge electrical and electronic systems including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technologies.
You will be responsible for
  • Critically assessing systems and device designs in safety-related risk assessments
  • Performing hands-on testing and analysis of electrical and electronics field failures
  • Consulting directly with clients regarding ongoing Exponent work
  • Preparing technical proposals, pursuing business developments, and supervising and managing laboratory testing
  • Critically assessing test results, methods of analysis and testing protocols, generating new testing protocols based on new product designs, maintaining a systematic approach to data collection and storage, and report writing

You will have the following skills and qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
  • Technical background in electronics, electrical circuits, controls or embedded systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry
  • Ability to support multiple group projects and market the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice and its consulting services
