Job description

Job Summary Field Support Technicians work under Senior Support Technicians to assist polling sites with technical and procedural issues during Early Voting and Election Day. This is an entry level technical support position with no prior experience required, but elections and/or technical support experience is desirable. These workers also assist the Training Department as needed.

Strong customer service skills are necessary and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. is required. Experience with mobile devices and apps is required.

A valid driver's license is required. These workers must use their own personal vehicle to visit sites and will be reimbursed mileage. Training on elections procedures, operation of the electronic voting equipment, election law, and troubleshooting techniques will be provided.

Must pass a criminal background check and driving record check. The pay is $20.00 per hour. This is a Temporary/Seasonal position

Work Environment & Other Information In accordance with Executive Order 14248, non-citizens are prohibited from participating in the administration of any Federal election, including access to election equipment, ballots, or related materials.
