Job description

Direct Support Provider (Crisis Diversion Center) – Temporary

At MHMR Concho Valley, our mission is “Working together to help people help themselves.”

Direct Support Provider (Crisis Diversion Center): The Direct Support Provider (DSP) will provide supervision and care to individuals engaging in services at the Crisis Diversion Center. The DSP will apply crisis intervention principles as appropriate throughout their shifts and is responsible for completing necessary documentation. The DSP is required to attend meetings and training programs relevant to the position.

The DSP will be responsible for assisting with transportation of CDC consumers to appointments in alignment with their goals. The DSP will work alongside other CDC staff to provide services related to treatment and assisting in maintaining cleanliness of building and operating procedures.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE

  • Graduation from a high school or G.E.D. required.
  • Some college or degree in psychology/sociology preferred.
  • Experience in the mental health field is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
  • Must not have more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • Must be insurable and remain insurable on Center’s insurance.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

SHIFT:  (Temporary Possible Permanent)

Full-time

Hours: 8AM-5PM

Days M-F

Pay: $2730/month

Dept: 2630
