Job description

Mancan Staffing, in partnership with a leading refinery in Cambridge, is seeking motivated Production Workers to join a high-performing team within a heavy manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career with room for advancement.
Position: Production Worker Recycling Refinery
Location: Cambridge, OH
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 8-hour swing/rotating shifts, including weekends
As a Production Worker, youll play an essential role in supporting daily operations, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring efficient and reliable production performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations
Contribute to a strong culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
Operate a variety of production equipment, including electric arc furnaces, roasters, system controls, and mobile machinery
Maximize equipment productivity and uptime to meet quality and production goals
Take part in team-based problem-solving and daily operational decision-making
Support process improvements through lean manufacturing practices, including 6S
Maintain clear and effective communication to foster a productive work environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Experience in heavy manufacturing preferred; steel or hot metal experience is a strong advantage
Prior experience operating heavy equipment (loader, dozer, forklift, dump truck) strongly preferred
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing demands
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, or willingness to learn
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends
Capable of working in hot and cold environments with fluctuating temperatures
Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Dependability, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic are essential
