Job description

Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $21.25 - Midpoint: $26.59 (Hourly N6)
Department/Organization: 217801 - Rise
Normal Work Schedule: Varies; 10-20 hours per week
Job Summary: The Event Coordinator oversees the implementation, execution, and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus on a part-time basis. Creates invitations. Selects sites. Creates seating arrangements. Negotiates with florist, caterers, event space staff, print shops, etc. Manages on-site contract staff, students, and etc.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and some event planning or coordination experience; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of event planning or coordination experience; OR high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of event planning or coordination experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Event planning experience.
