Temporary Assignment (4 Weeks+, Potential Extension)
$40–$50/hour
Bright Talent is partnering with an arts and culture organization in downtown Los Angeles seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Engineer for an immediate temporary assignment expected to last approximately 4 weeks, with potential for extension.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to technology resource for end users while working across desktop support, AV troubleshooting, mobile devices, user provisioning, and day-to-day IT operations.
The environment blends corporate technology support with hospitality experiences, making this a strong fit for someone who enjoys variety, visibility, and hands-on problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 desktop and help desk support onsite and remotely
  • Respond to and track support tickets across hardware, software, mobile, and AV issues
  • Configure and deploy laptops, peripherals, and user accounts
  • Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VPN access, printers, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot conference room and event space technology
  • Maintain hardware inventory and assist with device lifecycle management
  • Partner with internal IT leadership and external support vendors as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements and knowledge documentation
Ideal Background
  • 5+ years of hands-on desktop support/help desk experience
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and Active Directory experience
