Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Michigan 24 Hour Call Specific Dates November - December Assignment

Coverage Dates
Orientation onsite required day prior to start (Wednesday, 11/25)
11/26 - 11/29, ending 11/30 at 7am
12/18 - 12/23, ending 12/24 at 7am
Coverage Details
Beeper call only; provider comes in when ED requests consult
Call response time required: 20 minutes
On call only for duration of assignment
Average call volume per 24 hours:
0-5 phone consults
1-2 patients seen
0-1 admissions
Requirements
Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
ABOS required (NBPAS not accepted)
Active Michigan medical license or IMLC eligibility
Active Michigan DEA
Michigan CDS license
Required Procedures / Skills
Arthroscopy
Total joint replacement: Hip, Knee, Other (excludes hip and knee)
Joint revision or repair: Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Other (excludes hip, shoulder, knee)
Assignment Details
Call coverage only; inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Average patients seen while on call: 1-2
Orthopaedic PAs and full surgical staff available
Efficient OR with block time assignments
Facility trauma level: Level III
No spine cases required
