This position will work on-site at our Southern Cities Clinic-Faribault, MN facility

This position is part-time - 30 hours a week Monday-Thursday and having Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, day shift

Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Special Care Dentistry - Southern Cities, Faribault Dental Clinic Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Dental Hygienist! Our clinic provides patient-centered dental care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and people with severe and persistent mental illness. This position will provide maximum oral hygiene to the patients of the Direct Care & Treatment Dental Clinic.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Perform all services permitted by the state Board of Dentistry so that maximum oral hygiene may be maintained for the patients of State Operated Services Dental Clinics.

  • Design and implement a preventive dentistry program, in consultation with the dentist, so that optimal levels of all clients' oral hygiene can be maintained.

  • Ensure that infection control policies and procedures will be followed to maintain a safe environment for staff and patients.

  • Assist with clinic duties so that patient services and clinic communications and operations run effectively and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Registration with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist.

Preferred Qualifications
