1st shift (United States of America)Please review the following job description:We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support data integration and reporting initiatives across ERP and finance and risk data platforms.
This role focuses on supporting data analysis, validation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency. It requires the ability to gather and analyze project/downstream data mart consumers requirements, collaborate closely with Lines of Business (LOB) teams on data mapping, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for technology teams.
The ideal candidate has working knowledge of finance data, lending data, ETL tools, BI tools, very strong in SQL and data warehouse concepts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Design, implement, and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reports, analyses, data, system-related, or operational tasks in accordance with departmental processes and controls.

2. Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports, data, systems, etc. Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders.

3. Develop and administer controls to ensure the integrity of departmental process. Evaluate and recommend improvements to departmental processes.

4. Assist with development of departmental documentation, particularly for highly complex and technical activities.

5. Serve as a consultative resource on risk reporting, data, system, or related issues. Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements.

6. Lead moderate projects with heightened risks, complexity, and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger initiatives.

7. Mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent

2. 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3. Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within a professional discipline. Solid understanding of key business processes and strategies.

4. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.

6. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.

7. Ability to lead moderately complex projects. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Graduate degree in related field

2. 9+ years of related experience

3. Previous experience in banking, with specific emphasis on reporting, business intelligence, systems, technology, data, risk, compliance or related areas

4. Working knowledge of finance and lending data, including basic risk or credit concepts

5. Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipelines used to support reporting and analytics

6. Experience using BI tools to create or support reports and dashboards

7. Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and analyzing data

8. Foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts and structured data models
