Location: 100% remote (EST or CST Time zone)
JOB TITLE: Sr Manager Local NA Retail Merchandising
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Retail Merchandising Sr Manager for AFA is responsible for the buying strategy, assortment and allocation for Apparel, Footwear, and Accessories for Oakley stores and Vaults.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with Global AFA Oakley team and Global AFA Oakley category team to work on collection development by sharing Oakley Retail NA needs
  • Develop assortment strategies and lead the buying and allocation end to end process for Oakley Retail NA stores in partnership with global teams.
  • Responsible for sharing the Smart Shopper assortment with global team
  • Partner with VM on the AFA drop to coordinate field teams activities
  • Lead product buying debrief with leadership and field teams as well as product knowledge materials.
  • Partner with Distribution Center to build the drop calendar, manage and allocate the AFA drops quantity and guarantee the right replenishment levels
  • Creates an efficient communication process between assortment execution team, Global AFA team, Global AFA category team and maintain good relationship with both sides.
  • Trouble shot product masterdata problems by partnering with masterdata team
  • Lead/coordinate AFA cross functional activities and projects with other leaders within the organization
  • Support projects that impact inventory movements (obsolete, NRR, stores to stores, reporting, etc. along with needed cross functional partners
  • Partner with Operation and Finance to deliver recurring requests (i.e. labor hours estimate, exclusion list)
  • Support cross functional department with ad hoc product request (samples, events, PR) and brief requests
  • Build and Manage reporting on performance and inventory
  • Lead reoccuring AFA product performance meetings
  • Manage End of season sales and markdown related activities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in retail, finance, marketing or related fields
  • Working knowledge of Planning, Buying and Merchandising principles
  • Proficient computer skills, Excel, merchandising and planning systems (DPM, RPAS, Planning Files, AFS1, and FMS1)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and system
  • Finance and accounting principles, able to communicate financial plans and results from a merchandise perspective
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills - able to extract conclusions from available data
  • 5+ years' work experience in retail planning, buying or merchandising

GENERAL FUNCTION
The Senior Manager of In-Store Visual Experience is responsible for creating the visual merchandising strategies for LensCrafters that will dramatically enhance and consistently deliver the brand image and business objectives. This critical role leads creative development for all store visuals, display tools, and store presentation standards, including all field tools. In addition, this role is responsible for bringing consistent standards and execution across all stores. Further tasks include monthly management of the department budget and critical timelines that are established with our internal and global partners.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with leadership and brand cross-functional teams, including the Center of Excellence, to deliver consumer-centric, best-in-class marketing for LensCrafters
• Lead all creative operations for department - including writing of strategic briefs, development of marketing elements, corporate visual store communications, process and creative pipeline (global and internal), and main bridge between VM and cross-functional partners in Operations, Product, Planning, Procurement, and Store Design
• Consumer Activations: Lead, plan, and execute with excellence consumer activations with multiple internal and external teams and agencies
• Project Management: Manage several projects concurrently, often leading higher-level team members to deliver excellence in a timely manner
• Develop and manage the department calendar used cross-functionally by the marketing team, global team, and our other channel partners
• Design and execute materials and processes that aid in the successful opening of stores and all VM in store executions
• Create, manage, and improve visual merchandising principles, factoring in multiple store design types, store segments, volume needs, and variety of design characteristics
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field
• 8+ years of visual merchandising experience, preferably in a corporate capacity
• Previous leadership role
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
