Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare required
  • 2-4 years of analytics experience preferred
  • Previous experience in healthcare preferred
  • Proficient in critical & analytical thinking
  • Ability to communicate effectively, written and oral
  • Ability to evaluate statistical data for use in planning and monitoring trend
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Power Point)
  • Strong working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Power Pivot) preferred
Responsibilities & Requirements

The Decision Support Senior Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the on-going operations and growth initiatives for service lines, quality, payor performance, business development, and hospital administration.  This role is responsible for the following:

  • Facilitate a collaborative process with the service lines and hospital administrators to achieve greater standardization and consistency for service line assessments, quality and safety initiatives, payor performance, physician demand, budgets, pro-formas, performance improvement measurement and adhoc requests
  • Works with customers and IT to build reporting solutions
  • Performs detailed analysis as needed
  • Responsible for the training of the users for the various reporting solutions
  • Mentors new team members
  • Is proficient with reporting and data handling tools used by Decision Support (including, but not limited to, Excel, SQL, Power BI/Power Pivot, and 3rd party vendor reporting solutions)
  • Is proficient with the data model for the Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Documents processes in a clear and concise manner
  • Other Duties as assigned
