Are you ready to play an essential role in the management of marine operations and take on a variety of challenges on a daily basis?   Your place is with LOGISTEC as a Operations Clerk (16 months temporary position) to join our operations team, in Deception Bay (Fly-in, Fly-out 21/21).

Responsibilities

What your days look like as a Operations Clerk: 

  • Produce various reports before and after the departure of each ship;
  • Perform various data entry (inventory, daily, weekly, monthly reports);
  • Inventory follow-up;
  • Produce and follow up purchase orders with the purchasing system (Match error);
  • Prepare employees pay documents to be sent for payroll;
  • Perform clerical tasks such as expenses account, reservations, filing etc.; 
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Operations Clerk you must have:

  • Diploma in administration/office automation or any equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • One (1) to three (3) years' experience in a similar position
  • Intermediate level of MS Office;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and to meet deadlines;
  • Demonstrate autonomy, resourcefulness and excellent organizational skills;
  • Bilingualism, both written and spoken (English and French) required.
