Job description

Job Title: Operations Data Analyst III (IT Applications)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Operations Data Analyst III to join our IT applications operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting large-scale application operations, diagnosing performance and data faults, executing corrective maintenance, and ensuring the continuous, high-availability delivery of critical data pipelines and enterprise interfaces.
This is a key technical operations role for a professional who thrives in a complex enterprise environment. You will analyze existing application interfaces, write SQL code and scheduling scripts, troubleshoot infrastructure components, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams. If you possess a strong foundation in Linux, Oracle, and application support, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Application Operations & Data Support
• System Analysis & Maintenance: Analyze existing application interfaces and tools, prepare logical models, write SQL code and scheduling scripts, and test/debug data workflows.
• Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose, isolate, and correct data, process, and performance faults across complex, large-scale enterprise systems.
• Continuous Operations: Execute planned and ad-hoc corrective maintenance to sustain continuous system availability and meet strict service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Quality & Compliance Control: Execute quality control tasks, identify and correct data discrepancies, and ensure timely processing of high-volume operational workflows.
Collaboration & Documentation
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interact regularly with internal users, business stakeholders, and technical team members to report progress and resolve operational incidents.
• Requirements & Documentation: Assist in defining, developing, and documenting business requirements, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Process Enhancement: Propose enhancements to operational procedures, playbooks, run books, and tooling based on production insights.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience Baseline: 5+ years of professional experience designing, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting large-scale applications, infrastructure technologies, and operations data.
• Technical Mastery:
oStrong working knowledge of infrastructure components, including Linux servers, enterprise networking, backups, and Oracle databases.
oDemonstrated expertise in writing complex SQL queries, analyzing data flows, and troubleshooting system integrations.
• Core Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to work both independently and across multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Attributes
• Proven experience supporting mission-critical enterprise billing, metering, or high-volume transaction processing systems.
• Familiarity with Agile or structured Application Development Frameworks, coding guidelines, and database standards.
