Join the Team at UNM Golf Courses - Where Passion Meets Precision!
Do you have a flair for customer service and a love for the game of golf? UNM Golf Courses is looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals to join our dynamic team as Customer Service Associates (CSAs). Whether you're assisting a first-time visitor or a seasoned golfer, every day offers a new opportunity to make a lasting impression. Our courses are buzzing with energy all year round, offering an 18-hole Championship Course just south of UNM's campus and a 9-hole North Course just north of UNM Hospital.
As a CSA, you'll play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf courses, from processing transactions for green fees, memberships, and merchandise to answering customer questions and maintaining inventory. You'll help keep the pro shop running efficiently while providing exceptional service to golfers of all levels.
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has prior golf course customer service experience and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Can handle various tasks including sales, stock control, and inventory management
  • Is ready to bring their energy and attention to detail to our team

The ideal candidate must:
  • Be available to work 2-3 days a week
  • Be flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and/or split shifts as needed
  • Be eager to contribute to a vibrant, year-round operation

  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.
  • All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Prior experience working at a golf course or have golf knowledge
  • Experience working in a retail store
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
