Job description

Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a company based in Town Creek, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work for a company that you can grow with. You will be working with a team of maintenance professionals to help residents with routine maintenance as well.

Pay Rate
$21.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday, 8 00 am to 4 30 pm.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete service requests promptly (within 24 hours) and efficiently. Service requests often involve plumbing, minor appliance repair, electrical system repair, HVAC, and everyday routine maintenance.
  • Groundskeeping tasks to include but not limited to removing litter, pressure washing, cleaning breezeways, and maintaining excellent curb appeal of the property.
  • Exercise control over maintenance expenditures, keep inventory of supplies, as well as ensure that frequently used parts are always in stock.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, work well with co-workers and vendors, as well as go above and beyond to work as a team.
  • After-hours and on-call responsibility is required. Some weekend or holiday work may be required periodically.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Background check and drug screen are required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, proper liability insurance, and dependable transportation.
