Customer Service Representative (Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Pay: $18.00/hour
We're seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, and staying organized while managing multiple tasks.
Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of contact for customers, taking full ownership of each interaction to ensure all needs are met. This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships while supporting company goals and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally
  • Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Answer inbound calls regarding product information, pricing, availability, lead times, and order tracking
  • Resolve customer questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner
  • Communicate customer needs clearly with sales, production, and shipping teams
  • Organize workflow to meet deadlines and maintain productivity standards
  • Make outbound calls to follow up with customers, verify information, and identify opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and follow company procedures
  • Support team operations and assist other departments as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Fast-paced setting with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Prolonged sitting and/or standing (up to 8 hours per day)
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
  • Moderate noise levels with exposure to office and warehouse conditions
  • Regular computer use for extended periods

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills and a sales-minded approach
Positive, professional attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Comfortable learning new systems and technology
Must pass Drug Screen and have a clear Background
