A global logistics and freight forwarding organization is seeking a temporary Customer Service Agent to support its Ocean Import team.
Position Summary
The Customer Service Agent supports ocean import operations by coordinating shipment information, delivery schedules, documentation, system updates, and communication with customers, overseas offices, carriers, truckers, warehouses, and other logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with overseas offices and agents to obtain shipment information.
  • Provide customers with shipment status and delivery schedule updates.
  • Coordinate with truckers, ocean carriers, warehouses, and other vendors.
  • Create delivery orders and support shipment dispatch.
  • Review shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter and maintain shipment information in internal systems.
  • Prepare completed shipments for subsequent billing processes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Ocean Import Customer Service team.
  • Participate in customer service team meetings.
Qualifications
Required:
