Job Responsibilities
Piedmont Technical College Workforce Innovation/Continuing Education Division seeks to build a pool of qualified applicants for adjunct (temporary, part-time) positions to teach Leadership and Business public offering and corporate contract training courses at the Lex D. Walters Campus in Greenwood and/or our county campuses in Laurens, Edgefield, Abbeville, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda, or at various sites within the communities we serve.
Categories for Business and Leadership courses include, but are not limited to, Supervisory Development, Leadership, Communications, Interpersonal Relations, Human Resources-related topics, Train-the-Trainer, Project Management, Time Management, Customer Service, Computer Software courses, and other professional development subjects. If you are unsure if the category you would like to apply for is included in this posting, please speak with a member of the Workforce Innovation/Continuing Education staff. Schedules will vary depending on course type and needs. Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Minimum requirements are dependent upon the area of instruction. Generally, applicants should hold a bachelor's degree, which may be substituted with equivalent work experience, certifications, and/or demonstrated expertise in a particular subject matter.
