Job description

Job Summary
Temp Right Service is seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our Plumbing & HVAC team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, being part of a team, and learning a skilled trade. No prior plumbing or HVAC experience is required-we are willing to train the right candidate.
As a General Laborer, you will assist licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians with
commercial projects while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive job site.
Responsibilities
  • Assist plumbing and HVAC crews with installation, maintenance, and repair projects.
  • Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Transport materials to and from job sites.
  • Dig trenches and assist with underground utility installations.
  • Clean and prepare work areas before, during, and after construction.
  • Cut, measure, and assemble basic piping and ductwork under supervision.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform general shop duties and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Construction experience is a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical trades.
  • Forklift or equipment operation experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain).
