For almost 30 years, Pediatric Associates of Barrington has proudly cared for families in our community. GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Patient Representative is the first point of contact for patients, families and many other sources.

Works under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Answers phones, schedules appointments and verifies patient information.
  • Completes check-in, check-out and end of day processing.
  • Enters charges; collects and posts payments.
  • Collects patient balances.
  • Copies medical records.
  • Scans incoming patient records/reports.
  • Completes end of day process.
  • Processes medical records requests.
  • Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Performs digital health workflows and initiatives.
  • Performs complete referral authorizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
