The Fulfillment Technician will be responsible for safely and accurately pulling orders for wholesale and bulk sales; ensuring the correct product is pulled, and the cannabis products are labeled properly for distribution. This position requires keen attention to detail and ability to read small, printed text to verify items. As part of the Supply Chain department, this individual will also be responsible for occasionally making deliveries of medical marijuana to dispensaries within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as part of a driving team.

Temporary positions can turn into permanent roles within the organization. Temporary positions offer set schedules on a full time (40 hours) or part time (28 hours) basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Read sales orders and manifests, determining batch, package, products, and quantities for picking
  • Pick the correct items from the inventory vault, ensuring correct product is selected by confirming batch and package ID numbers
  • Create and print labels and ID tags for outgoing shipments
  • Label and sticker individual products for wholesale customers per department of health regulations
  • Verify correct product quantity is selected throughout fulfillment process
  • Package case packed products for delivery to multiple locations
  • Stage deliveries for pickup by date, time, and vehicle
  • Work in a team to complete individually assigned tasks in a timely manner with accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve discrepancies in deliveries and inventory counts
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driving record throughout duration of employment, reporting any accidents at work or out of-work to management promptly
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Non-CDL, Class C driver's license, in good standing required
  • A clean Motor Vehicle Report with no reportable records 
  • 1+ years of experience in inventory management, fulfillment, or related field required
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Understanding of inventory tracking, auditing, reconciliation, and FIFO procedures
  • Ability to count and perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and MS Office

WORK CONDITIONS:

This position involves both sedentary work and physical labor. This position is detail-oriented and requires candidates to read, write, and count. This position is in an environment that frequently has a strong cannabis odor. This position will come in regular contact with packaged cannabis product, and occasional contact with unpacked cannabis in its cured and uncured forms. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to:

  • Sit for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift)
  • Identify and read small-print text accurately
  • Walk and/or move on uneven terrain/pavement as well as climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 75 pounds; 125 pounds with assistance
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members in person and by phone
  • Use of PPE equipment will be required and provided by the employer
  • The work environment may include exposure to fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor / no AC, motion, and moderate to loud noises
