Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

In this hybrid role based at our Chicago Headquarters, you will perform data analysis to drive actionable insights that support business strategies. Create meaningful reports and collaborate with various departments.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex data analyses to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that drive business strategy, utilizing statistical methods, data modeling, and descriptive analytics to support decision-making.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such a Tableau, Power BI, or similar platform.
  • Ensure reports are comprehensive, accurate, and aligned with business needs.
  • Work with multiple data sources to integrate and consolidate data into a unified view.
  • Assist in the development of data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data availability and accuracy.
  • Create and refine data visualizations to effectively communicate insights and support business objectives, applying best practices in data visualization to enhance clarity and impact.
  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor and ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Implement and adhere to data governance practices to maintain standards of data integrity.
  • Contribute to business intelligence projects by defining project scope, developing project architecture plans, and delivering on time results.
  • Support cross-functional teams with data driven insights.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance of all business transactions with policy and process of the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policies.
  • Maintains integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives.

Education Minimum - Graduate Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Related. Years of Experience Minimum - 1 Year Business Intelligence, Data Analysis or Related. In Lieu of Education 3 Years Business Intelligence, Data Analysis including a Bachelor's Degree or 7 years without a degree.

Compensation & Benefits: Typical hiring range: $76,600.00 to $119,100.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
