Are you a skilled Machine Operator, seeking a new opportunity? You could be a great fit for this Machine Operator position in Carol Stream. 
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that is dedicated to providing great customer service to all their clients. This company is a leader in the food service equipment industry and is looking for motivated individuals to join their team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operates fabrication equipment, including but not limited to drill presses, hardware insertion machines, deburring tools, and other small machinery.
  • Works with Floor Leaders to ensure quality control on product lines and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Reports concerns, issues, and material shortages to Team Leader(s).
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and functional work area.
  • Follows and promotes adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Floor Leader(s).

Essential Skills & Role Qualifications
  • Basic organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and a team player, with the ability to follow directions in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to differentiate colors, use basic hand tools, and read engineering blueprints and bills of materials.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., ability to use a mouse and Windows applications).
  • Must be able to operate most fabrication equipment and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of production and quality standards, as well as assembly procedures and processes (preferred).

Essential Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required); additional education (preferred).
  • 1–2 years of experience operating fabrication equipment, including drill presses.
  • Experience in the foodservice manufacturing industry (preferred).
 
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 5:am -3:30pm

Pay: $18.75 per hour
