Job description


This is an extra-duty position designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience while accommodating the student's academic schedule. Days and hours are flexible and will be determined collaboratively based on the needs of the Communications Department and the intern's school commitments.

The internship will focus heavily on media production, offering hands-on opportunities in photography, videography, visual storytelling, and content creation. Interns will gain experience covering district events, capturing student and staff stories, editing photo and video content, and producing multimedia assets for use across district websites, social media platforms, publications, and marketing campaigns.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate creativity, professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in photography, videography, journalism, marketing, communications, or digital media. Experience with cameras, video editing software, photography editing tools, or social media content creation is preferred.

This position provides an opportunity to build a professional portfolio while contributing to authentic storytelling that highlights the impact of public education and the success of students, staff, and programs throughout St. Vrain Valley Schools.
