Job Title: Model Maker
Location: Lewisville, TX 75057
Schedule: M-F 6 am- 3 pm, with lots of OT
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Model Maker to join our manufacturing team in Lewisville, TX. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in fabrication, woodworking tools, and welding who thrives in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. You will play a key role in building and assembling models using engineered drawings and various shop equipment.


Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding to fabricate and assemble components

  • Read and interpret engineered drawings and blueprints

  • Operate shop equipment including table saws and radial arm saws

  • Use basic hand tools to complete fabrication and assembly tasks

  • Assist with and learn powder coating processes

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Meet production deadlines and be flexible with last-minute overtime as needed


Requirements
  • Must have MIG & TIG welding experience and an up-to-date welding helmet

  • Ability to read and understand technical/engineered drawings

  • Must have basic hand tools

  • Experience operating table saws and radial arm saws

  • Manufacturing experience is required

  • Must be a self-starter with strong work ethic

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Willingness to learn powder coating

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented setting

  • Requires standing, lifting, and moving items throughout the shift
