POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse and distribution operations at the Lee's Summit facility, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of materials from production through customer shipment.

The role provides strategic and operational leadership for receiving, inventory management, warehousing, picking, shipping, transportation coordination, and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) execution. The Warehouse Manager develops supervisors and warehouse teams while driving operational excellence across safety, service, inventory accuracy, productivity, and continuous improvement.

As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, this role partners closely with Customer Service, Planning, Manufacturing, Transportation, Procurement, and Quality to ensure customer commitments are met while continuously improving warehouse performance.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:

 

1. Safety, Compliance & Food Safety

  • Build and maintain a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HACCP, GMP, company safety policies and food safety requirements.
  • Lead serious incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure supervisors consistently execute daily safety expectations.
  • Champion 5S and visual workplace standards.

2. Operational Leadership

Provide overall leadership for:

  • Receiving
  • Finished Goods Warehouse
  • Raw Material Warehouse
  • Shipping

Ensure all warehouse activities support production requirements and customer delivery expectations.
