Job description

Fischer Van Lines is a Denver-based moving company hiring experienced Packers to join our crew — starting now. You'll play a hands-on role in ensuring our customers' belongings arrive at their destination safe, organized, and intact. Whether it's a family moving across town or a corporation relocating an office, your care and attention to detail make all the difference.

What You'll Do

Pack household and corporate items including artwork, sculptures, glassware, kitchenware, books, clothing, and everyday personal effects

Select appropriate packing materials (boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, foam) for each item type

Label and organize boxes clearly by room and contents

Handle fragile and high-value items with extra care and proper technique

Load and unload trucks as needed alongside the moving crew

Maintain a clean, organized work environment at each job site

Communicate with crew leads and customers in a professional, respectful manner

What We're Looking For

Experience: Prior packing, moving, or logistics experience preferred — especially with fragile or high-value items

Attention to detail: You take pride in doing it right, not just fast

Physical stamina: This is active, hands-on work — you'll be on your feet, lifting, bending, and carrying throughout your shift

Reliability: Show up on time, ready to work — our customers are counting on us

Team player: You work well with others and communicate clearly on the job

Valid ID required

Schedule & Availability

Shifts typically run 8–10 hours, start times vary by job

Weekday and weekend availability preferred — moving doesn't stop on Saturdays

Full-time and temporary/seasonal positions available

Overtime opportunities during peak moving season
