Viewcrest Health Center – Duluth, MN
Union: UFCW | Every Other Weekend Required

Pay

  • Starting at $19.00/hour

  • Up to $24.13/hour with experience match (up to 10 years)

  • Annual raises

  • Experience step increases possible

Schedule

  • 40 hours every 2 weeks (part-time)

  • Every other weekend required

  • Consistent, predictable schedule

???? Position Overview – Laundry Aide

The Laundry Aide plays a key role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents. This role ensures linens, personal clothing, and facility laundry are cleaned, dried, folded, and delivered efficiently and with care.

You don’t need healthcare experience — just reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and resident clothing

  • Label and track resident items

  • Maintain clean, safe laundry areas

  • Follow infection control and safety protocols

  • Communicate with nursing and housekeeping staff as needed

  • Deliver laundry to appropriate locations in the building

  • Provide friendly, respectful service to residents

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand throughout shift

  • Ability to work every other weekend

  • Dependable and team-oriented

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Previous laundry or housekeeping experience helpful, but not required
